Cards and wallets
The full list of methods available to you appears on the payment step at checkout. Typically that includes:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
- Discover
- Digital wallets shown at checkout
Currency
Everything in US dollars
Prices are displayed and charged in USD. If your card is held in another currency, your bank sets the conversion rate and may add a foreign transaction fee.
Security
How your card data is handled
Checkout runs over an encrypted connection and card details go straight to a PCI-compliant payment processor. Full card numbers never reach our servers and we can’t see them.
Timing
When you’re charged
Your card is authorized and captured when the order is placed. That’s what lets us start picking your items the same or next working day.
Declines
If the payment doesn’t go through
Almost always fixable in a minute. The usual suspects:
- A typo in the card number, expiry date, or CVC.
- Not enough available balance.
- A fraud hold from your bank on a first-time or cross-border merchant.
- An expired or blocked card.
- A billing address that doesn’t match your card records.
Some banks show a pending authorization on a declined attempt. It drops off on its own within a few business days — you haven’t been charged twice.
Billing
Match your card records
Enter the billing address exactly as your card issuer holds it. Mismatches are the single most common reason a legitimate order gets stopped.
Tax & duties
What’s added on top
Sales tax is calculated at checkout where it applies. Because orders ship from Canada, import duties or brokerage fees can be charged on delivery and are the recipient’s responsibility.
